ABOUT EFFICIENT NATIONS
More capacity.
Shared possibilities.
Efficient Nations brings knowledge, artificial intelligence and human collaboration together to help people and organizations understand challenges, discover solutions and turn better ideas into action.
THIS IS EFFICIENT NATIONS
Problems are everywhere.
The capacity to solve them
should be too.
Efficient Nations exists to expand the capacity of people, communities and institutions to develop, adapt and implement solutions for more sustainable and efficient human and environmental systems.
AI expands what is possible. Human knowledge, judgment, collaboration and action determine what happens next.

FROM KNOWLEDGE TO ACTION
More capacity to act.
Efficient Nations does not exist merely to produce documents. It exists to increase the capacity to act.
- 01
Understand
Understand the actual challenge.
- 02
Discover
Learn what others have tried.
- 03
Evaluate
Examine evidence, limitations and alternatives.
- 04
Adapt
Translate solutions to local context.
- 05
Design
Build an actionable intervention.
- 06
Connect
Bring together people, organizations, expertise and resources.
- 07
Act
Move from proposal to implementation.
- 08
Learn
Turn results — including failures — into shared knowledge.
PROJECTS
From ideas
to reality.
Knowledge + intelligence + human decision + partners + resources → action. A project matters when it creates a path toward action. Efficient Nations aims to help promising solutions move through research, design, partnership, implementation and learning.
A place for work in progress.
There are no public projects to share yet. As this work develops, this space will show project stages, needs and what we learn.

IMPACT & LEARNING
A project
is not an impact.
We want to learn what happens after an idea leaves the page: what was implemented, what worked, what failed, what changed and what others can learn from it.
Future results — including failures — should return to our shared knowledge and inform the next attempt.
OUR ORIGIN
The mission came
before the AI.
Efficient Nations was conceived before modern generative AI from a broader ambition: bring science, technology, knowledge and collaboration together to improve the planet we already inhabit. AI did not create the mission. It made a scalable version of it possible.
Early inspiration
Google’s Project 10^100 helped inspire a question: how can collective knowledge improve lives? No affiliation with Google.
Economics & responsibility
Earlier research explored the relationship between economic systems and environmental responsibility.
Greenstronauts · circa 2019
An early expression of the mission to improve the planet we inhabit.
Not Plan B + True Economics
Two complementary lenses: ambition for Earth and the conditions that make useful solutions viable.
The scale problem
Expertise and project development capacity remain scarce and unevenly distributed.
Generative AI
New tools can reduce some of the costs of cognitive work.
Experimentation & learning
Understand before proposing solutions. Test assumptions and learn from limitations.
Efficient Nations + EN-Core
A human organization and a working architecture to expand capacity for action.
Our story
That founding ambition guides the organization we are building today. EN-Core is its technological evolution: a way to broaden access to knowledge and support human judgment, collaboration and action. The platform is in an early development stage, and its capabilities are being developed and tested.
RESEARCH & UPDATES
